Moonlight.
Hoy os voy a hablar de una serie que me ha enganchado: Moonlight.
Es una serie que mezcla drama y acción, con elementos sobrenaturales. Ha sido producida por la CBS y actualmente consta de una temporada de 16 capítulos. No entiendo por qué, ha sido cancelada y actualmente no se espera que vaya a existir una continuación. No obstante, diferentes productoras y canales (como la FOX) están intentando hacerse con los derechos con el fin de continuar. Pero por ahora, todo esto parece muy poco probable.
Explico un poco el argumento...
Mick St. John es un investigador privado de Los Ángeles, pero además es un vampiro desde hace 55 años. Utiliza sus capacidades para resolver los casos, mientras que lucha con todo tipo de problemas que van apareciendo en la sociedad vampírica de la ciudad.
Para los amantes de Vampiro: La Mascarada, el juego de rol, les resultará la serie interesantísima. Aparece una estructura cainita muy parecida a la que nos plantea este juego y podemos ver millones de similitudes como disciplinas, clanes, status vampíricos, capacidades de los vástagos, respeto a la mascarada, etc. Se la aconsejo a cualquiera que haya jugado a este juego de rol.

Muere una mujer tras ser golpeada por el ataúd de su marido.
Pues no puede ser más claro el título. La fuente es BBC NEWS y nos habla de este caso sucedido en Brasil.
Resumiendo un poco. Cuando se dirigían al cementerio con el cuerpo del difunto, un automóvil golpeó bruscamente al coche fúnebre por detrás, provocando que la caja saliera despedida hacia delante y golpeando así a la viuda en la cabeza que estaba de copiloto. Su muerte fue en al acto y dos hijos suyos tuvieron que ser hospitalidados por heridas leves.
Eso si que es liarla parda!
El Cura y su patata.
En The Sun, esa publicación tan discreta del Reino Unido, publicó esta noticia. Os lo resumo un poco por encima...
En un hospital de Sheffield (Reino Unido), apareció un cura con una patata atascada "where the sun doesn’t shine", es decir, donde nunca le da el sol....
El clérigo, para evitar pensamientos erróneos que supusieran que estaba utilizando este tubérculo como objeto sexual, se dispuso a explicar lo que le ocurrió. Y es que, según nos cuenta, se cayó hacia atrás encima de la mesa de la cocina mientras ponía unas cortinas, donde tendría una patata que por casualidad se introdujo por su ano por la acción del golpe.
En fin... Sin comentarios...
El Hobbit, una película en dos entregas.
Guillermo del Toro ya ha concedido varias entrevistas, por lo que ya podemos tener alguna información sobre la película El Hobbit. La más interesante ha caído en MTV Movies Blog. Aquí os dejo integramente la entrevista:
What’s better than a second breakfast? For fans of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth legendarium, it’s the thought of two separate “Hobbit” films, the first of which comes our way in 2011.
But what could be even better still than two “Hobbit” films? How about just one? Make that one movie in two parts, director Guillermo del Toro insisted in an exclusive interview with MTV News, refusing, like Tolkien himself before him, to fractionalize his overall story into component parts.
“The reality is that we stopped talking the first movie and second movie, and we just started taking about the movie - the two episodes, or two parts, as if they were a single piece of narrative,” he said of scriptwriting meetings between “Lord of the Rings” director Peter Jackson, his filmmaking team of Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens, and del Toro himself.
“We don’t even call it the bridge movie, we just call it ‘The Movie.’ And this is great. When we found what reverberated, and we found it in one of our virtual meetings - we understood. It’s a movie.”
Intended or not, the methodology ties in nicely with the material, since Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings” story, popularized in three separate volumes, was similarly intended to be one large, single volume work.
Practically, the division (or lack thereof) means little in so far as solving the narrative riddles of the second episode. (What will the second episode contain? What characters will return, etc?) Well, except for the very end that is, which will lead right into “The Fellowship of the Ring,” del Toro revealed.
“We all agree that if we do our job right, it should all feel like a continuous journey. That’s what we’re striving for,” Del Toro said. “You should see a movie that’s five pictures long. If we do our job right, you put in ‘The Hobbit’ and you wind up watching the entire Pentology!”
And let me be the (second) to say: That would be one heck of a long day.
“But it’s a good day!” Del Toro laughed with my colleague Josh Horowitz. “Better than paying taxes!”
As for the end of the first episode, the movie everyone assumed will follow the events of the novel fairly accurately? Where in the text will it finish?
“We are finding out,” GDT quipped. “I think Smaug dies in the first movie. So draw your own conclusions.”
Think GDT has it all figured out? Where would you end the first film to ensure the greatest narrative impact and most facile bridge to Film Two? The end of the book? Before the Battle of Five Armies? Somewhere else? And could you ever REALLY see yourself watching all five films in one day? Sound off on all your thoughts below.

Huye del término película puente, pues una de las cosas que pretende hacer con estás dos entregas es unir las 5 películas en una auténtica pentalogía. Uno de los pocos detalles que nos da es que no saben exactamente donde termina la primera entrega, pero sitúa ahí la muerte de Smaug.
Seremos capaces de ver las 5 pelis seguidas? Esta maratón si que tendrá mérito...

Teterías de Málaga
Hola a todos!!
Os voy a recomendar unos sitios agradables en Málaga para tomarte un café-batido-té.

Este sitio es La Tetería, C/ San Agustín 9.
Encontré la web (que ahora tenéis a vuestra disposición en el link) y me hizo muchísima ilusión volver a ver un lugar tan especial para mí.
Este otro sitio tampoco se queda atrás!! Se llama Tetería El Harén, C/ Andrés Pérez, 3.
Como véis es una especie de palacete, con un patio central y diferentes pisos y habitaciones. Sólo elegir mesa ya es entretenido.
Tienen una carta de té amplísima y puedes estar bastante tiempo intentando decidirte qué tomar.
Otra! La Manquita!!, C/ Duque de la Victoria, 8.
Justo en frente de donde yo vivía! Una calidad Altísima (como las anteriores)
Habían unas ofertas que en otras teterías no existían.
Por ejemplo: Batido de 2 sabores + pañuelo de chocolate = X €.
Obviamente te ahorrabas unos eurillos si te lo pedías así que por separado.
